Laid Down 25.6.1966 Launched 24.5.1967 Commissioned 2.12.1968
1970. Attended site of sinking of Royal Fleet Auxilliary Ennerdale lost on 1st June off the Seychelles.
1973. Rammed by Icelandic gunboat Odinn.
1974. Evacuated British Citizens from Cyprus.
1975. Fishery Protection, Iceland.
1980. Recommissioned after refit with Exocet and Seawolf missile systems.
May 1982. Joined Falklands Task Force. Acted as close escort to HMS Invincible.
June 1983. Persian Gulf.
Aug 1983. Removed Mauritian revolutionaries from island in Indian Ocean area of Diego Garcia.
Oct 1983. Persian Gulf Patrol with HMS Achilles.
Jan. 1984. Gibraltar.
1984. Falklands Islands Patrol.
1995. Sold to India for operational use.
